Mtn Built Media started the way most good things do not with a business plan, but with a camera.
Owner Tyler McCluskey picked up photography/video as a passion project 10 years ago, and what started as a way to capture adventures in the mountains, turned into something bigger: a way to help other people and businesses tell their story just as well.
That passion is still at the core of everything we do. We're not a big agency running content through a formula we're a small, hands-on studio that genuinely cares about getting the shot right and telling the story well.
As we worked on more projects, a pattern became obvious: local businesses had the same problem we used to solve for personal projects, their photos and videos weren't doing them justice, and it was costing them customers.
That's when Mtn Built Media became what it is today: a video and photography studio focused on one thing, creating content that actually grows your business. More engagement, more inquiries, more customers.
